“In terms of its gross regional product, Moscow is among the world's top ten global urban economies, performing on par with other sustainably growing global megacities. Moscow's GDP per capita growth rates have been at about 3.5% for the last 15 years, while its employment growth rates – at about 2.1%,” said Natalia Sergunina.
She also noted that the long-term development trend demonstrated by Moscow is similar to that of Seul and Hong Kong. In that domain, the capital of Russia is ahead of Western European and U.S. cities, noted Ms. Sergunina.

Moscow is Among the World's Top 10 Urban Economies
For the last 15 years Moscow has retained stable GDP per capita growth rates, at about 3.5% year-on year. The city is among the world's top 10 urban economies, according to a statement made by Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
