Youth to Compete at Copter Hack

Youth to Compete at Copter Hack

On July 11, high schoolers, students and graduates of Moscow universities will begin preparations for the drone hackathon Copter Hack. Training will commence at the youth innovation and creativity center of Copter Express, a drone company.
Prior to the event, contestants will attend a course of lectures on unmanned autonomous systems followed by practicals, where they will be able to assemble and launch a copter.
At Copter Hack, teams will have to complete a practical assignment: to assemble a quadcopter and write a program to make the copter dance to a tune. To put together their unmanned aircraft systems, contestants will be provided with parts of the future vehicles. They will also use Clever 2, a programmable quadcopter kit.
The event is organized by Copter Express, a developer and manufacturer of unmanned civil aircraft. The company is a resident of Technopolis Moscow, where it also operates a youth innovation and creativity center that provides classes on drone design and programming.
