Moscow's first technology park for children was launched in May 2016 at the premises of Mosgormash Technology Park. Educational programs are offered in three domains (robotics, geoinformatics, and astronautics) and designed in partnership with the Polytechnical University, Moscow State Geodesy and Cartography University, Moscow Technological University, and Plekhanov Russian State University of Economics. The park occupies 858 square meters and can provide training to up to 2000 students annually. In addition, more than 2000 local school kids visit the place as part of field trips. Students of the park's Astronautics Lab recently won a technological olympiad dedicated to space systems. Facilities include numerous labs, a hi-tech shop with advanced equipment for hands-on classes, a conference auditorium, and a screening room.
