Serbian Companies are Interested in Russian Tech Startups

Representatives of the Serbian business community are ready to study Russian technology startups and consider the possibility of implementing their solutions at Serbian companies. This was announced by Djordje Djordjevich, an executive of the ICTHub Playground business park, during his meeting with Artyom Avetisyan of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) on August 28 in Belgrade.

“The main function of the business park is to“ grow ” startups. Serbian companies are actively increasing their presence in the Russian market. They are interested in establishing and strengthening business relations with Russian companies and are ready to consider the implementation of Russian technologies at their enterprises,” said Djordjevich.

Artem Avetisyan emphasized that the ASI is interested in introducing Russian technology startups to large companies both in Russia and abroad. “We have many young scientists and innovative startups, but they face difficulties in promoting their solutions among large companies. In this regard, we want to work out a mechanism that will solve systemic problems and provide innovative companies with access to new markets.”

Avetisyan told his Serbian colleague that the ASI had already conducted several targeted screenings of technology startups, including those for accelerators of large holdings.

“We want to select technological projects and help their leaders implement their ideas at largest companies. We are also interested in promoting Russian technologies abroad,” said Avetisyan.
