Moscow Manufacturers Participate in Kind+Jugend 2019

The world's largest trade fair for children's products Kind+Jugend 2019 wrapped up on 22 September in Cologne. Twelve Moscow companies participated in the event under the single brand Made in Moscow. Over four days, the companies held more than 250 meetings. The joint exhibition area was organized by the Moscow Export Center, a subsidiary of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.
 



The participants of the Made in Moscow exposition held a number of meetings with potential foreign partners from 38 countries, including the USA, Germany, France, China, India, Japan, and South Korea.

“Products for children are an important area of ​​Moscow's export activities, and our products meet the highest requirements for quality and safety,” said Alexei Fursin, head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. “89.8% of participants in business meetings with potential foreign buyers and investors assess negotiations as promising – supply agreements were either reached during the meetings, or their achievement is planned in the near future. The largest number of meetings was held with companies from Germany, China, the Netherlands, France and Spain.”

At the trade fair, the Moscow Export Center signed a cooperation agreement with the Association of Manufacturers and Consumers of Children's Products and Services. This agreement is intended to support Moscow manufacturers of children's products on international markets.
